Shipping Aviation Tourism (SAT) Wing of Brahmakumaris Rajyoga Education and Research  foundation organised  a very vivid and meaningful programme in collaboration with Brahma Kumaris Sikkm on the theme “Meri Sanskriti Meri Pahichaan” , a journey from Sanskriti  towards Sanskar transformation on 25.11.2023 at Shantikund,  Development Area, Gangtok, Sikkim.

The program was graced by the valuable presence of Shri Sanjeet Kharel, Honourable Minister, Building and Housing Department, Social Justice and Welfare Department and Women and Child Development  Department as the Chief Guest, HCM Madam Shrimati Krishna Rai as Guest of Honour, Shri Lokendra Rasaily, Honourable Chairman, Sikkim Tourism Development Corporation, Government of Sikkim as Special Guest.

In her Keynote address , Rajyogini B.K Kamlesh Didi, the National Coordinator, SAT wing of RERF, enlightened the gathering with the words of wisdom about  how sanskar and Sanskriti word are interconnected , concept of Vasudhiva Kutumbakam, Sarve bhawani Sukhina and Athiti Devo Bhava can be promoted in the sector of tourism by giving the practical aspects of spirituality . She also highlighted the SAT Wing’s promotional Project “Namaste” with visual clippings.

Sikkim SAT Wing Coordinator B.K. Sonam Behenji led the cultural performance in the program with placards of cultural values of heritage of different states. Along with this, community dances (Bhutia, Lepcha,Nepali) were also presented by the artists of the Culture Department of Sikkim Government.

Honourable Minister, the Chief Guest inspired the gathering by sharing his experiences about the lightness he felt at his first visit to Shantikund.HCM madam appreciated the spiritual strength experienced by her of practising of Rajyoga Meditation and daily spiritual study of Murli (God’s Sermon or teaching) has made her able to have a positive outlook towards any  life events. Addressing the gathering Honourable Chairman of Sikkim Tourism Development Corporation shared about current status of Sikkim tourism sector and increased inclination of tourist flux towards the rural belt.

The programme was earmarked with quality gathering including Mayor, Gangtok Municipality Corporation Shri Neel Bahadur Chettri, councillors Madam Pema Lamta and Madam Kala Rai, President and executive members of Sikkim Tourist Guide Association, Sikkim Paragliding Association, Sikkim United Tourism Organisation, Sikkim Home Stay Association, Travel Agent Association of Sikkim, Himalayan Institute of Natural Sciences, Namchi, Joint Director, Department of Horticulture,  District Coordinator , Convener, General Secretaries of SKM,  Social workers, Businessmen, Former Ministers ,Senior Brahma kumaris  Didis  from Goa, Gujarat, Visakhapatnam, different part of Sikkim and  B.K. Harish Bhaiji from Head Quarter Mount Abu along with other wing members,B.K Students from different parts of Sikkim.

Rajyogini BK Bharati Didi, Gujarat State Co ordinator (SAT) gave an experience of inward journey through Rajyoga Meditation with guided commentary. After this SAT wing organized training programs on various topics like Service with Smile, Namaste Project etc. with various activities for two days from 26th November to 27th November, this program was participated by b.k brothers and sisters from different centres.
